I thought I would share some of my new makeup and beauty products I have picked up over the last month. I would love to hear about any great beauty finds you have come across lately.
1.Clé de Peau Beauté Concealer- I have tried so many under eye concealers over the years and while I do have a few favorites {here and here} this concealer has won all sorts of awards so I thought I would give it a a try. I have been applying after my corrector and it seems to be working pretty well. It gives a smooth and even finish and doesn't cake up. I think the trick with any of these concealers is moisturizing first and also patting and not rubbing in the concealer.
2. Nars mini blush and bronzer-this duo brings together two of my favorites from Nars-the Orgasm blush and Laguna bronzing powder. I carry this little compact in my handbag and use it for on the go touch ups.
3. La Mer eye balm intense-I have been using La Mer eye concentrate for years but I decided to give the eye balm intense a try. {see video here} The eye balm intense smoothes, hydrates, and deeply conditions the under eye area. I have been using it in the morning and night.
4. Estee Lauder pure color envy sculpting lipstick-{color-dynamic} When I was hosting the fashion show at Bloomingdales last month I had my makeup done at the Estee Lauder counter and I tried this lipstick. I like this particular lipstick because it's creamy and goes on evenly and effortlessly. And the color is really saturated and long lasting.
5. Oribe root touch up spray- I have been using Color Wow for root touch ups and those grey hairs that seem to keep popping up. But I was recently introduced to Oribe's root touch ups spray and wanted to give it a try. This airbrushing spray works great-it's light and absorbs excess oil from the hair. I like both products a lot so I keep the touch up spray in my makeup bag in my purse and for travel and I use the Color Wow at home.
White denim is a classic warm weather piece but this season has brought a few new trends that help to keep things fresh and from looking to precious. Denim with a few rips in the knees keeps everything casual and perfect for running around town on the weekends. Denim on denim is another trend and a light washed jacket is the perfect compliment to white jeans. A structured bag and polished nude flats pulls everything together.

Happy Friday!
The beginning of 2015 brought a craving for all things orangey-red; but as the temperatures have warmed my most lusted after color has transitioned from bright and bold to soft and airy. From blush toned accessories to nail polish, the lighter color is keeping things fresh and Spring-like. I’m dubbing this the season to “think pink”.

I saw this shopping list on WhoWhatWear last week and love it. I create a similar list for my clients that includes items missing from their wardrobe along with a shopping wishlist. This list is great because it is trends and basics and it's a great starting point if you want to edit your spring wardrobe. Check out some of my favorite items for spring here.
