I’ve been a huge Sex and The City fan for as long as I can remember. It’s been such a big part of my life even starting since high school. For me, Carrie Bradshaw is the epitome of city girl fashion. Her love of ridiculously high shoes, designer trends, and the ability to pull of the most ridiculous pairings. However, my favorite Carrie is one from the beginning years. She effortlessly pulled off simple, body forming dresses with killer heels and great bags. She let her wild curly hair be her best accessory and she looked amazing. GET THE LOOK: Casual White Denim

White denim is a classic warm weather piece but this season has brought a few new trends that help to keep things fresh and from looking to precious. Denim with a few rips in the knees keeps everything casual and perfect for running around town on the weekends. Denim on denim is another trend and a light washed jacket is the perfect compliment to white jeans. A structured bag and polished nude flats pulls everything together.

Valentine's Day: Casual Date Look

This year for Valentine's Day we are staying in and having a low key evening.  I will likely be in my cozy pajamas, making homemade pizza, popping some popcorn, and watching a couple of Netflix movies in our home theatre. We may venture out during the day for a low key lunch and an outfit like this would be perfect.

How to Style Over The Knee Boots

My absolute favorite type of boots and favorite item for fall is a great pair of over the knee boots. I am partial to the styles and quality of over the knee boots at Stuart Weitzman but there are so many other great options out there. Today we have Faith Pierce, our fashion contributor, sharing a few style tips with over the knee boots. 

Over the knee boots are popping up more and more lately; so when I found myself constantly clicking on them while online shopping I knew it was time to focus a post around a pair. I decided to pull inspiration from the ever fabulous Olivia Palermo, and mix neutral colors, lots of textures, and top everything off with a fantastic bag. The fur vest is a fun layer to help keep an otherwise neutral look from becoming bland, along with the pop of color in the outerwear. The suede texture of the boot helps to keep things casual and easy to throw on for everyday, and the structured bag adds a lady like and polished element.
