Afterall, it is January-the perfect time to think about deluttering and organizing your wardrobe for the New Year. And let's be honest, it's impossible to hop on any social media outlet without seeing folks tidying up and decluttering The Marie Kondo way! So, on today's segment I am showing you the top wardrobe essentials that should be in every woman's wardrobes. It doesn't matter if you work at home or in an office setting or if you are a stay at home mom, these are the foundational items that will having you looking great and feeling confident.

Today I was over at WJLA/ABC's Let's Talk Live DC sharing all the red carpet fashion hits and misses from last night's Golden Globes Awards.

On Monday I stopped by Let's Talk Live to for a fashion recap from the Golden Globes. Black dresses ruled the red carpet in show of solidarity for the mission of anti-sexual harrassment group Time's Up and the #MeToo movement. Thisi year the question was not " Who are you wearing: but instead it was Why are you wearing black?" It was about standing up-not standing out. I think all the women looked so polished and powerful and they seemed relaxed and confident on the red carpet.

On Air: Is It Worth It- Rent Your Clothes Or Own Them?

When it comes ot your wardrobe do you rent or own? Last week ABC7 featured a story on renting vs. owning clothing and they featured Rent The Runway. Check out this TV news clip -my section is pretty quick and is from 1:18-1:35. I am definitely a fan of, have recommended to clients, and have personally used Rent The Runway. But I also think should invest in key items such as a little black dress, good pumps, and a fabulous pair of jeans, just to name a few.
