The Fashion Edit: Winter White

One fashion statement I love during the colder months is “winter white”. I love how it feels crisp and clean but still fresh and easily transitional to Spring. To keep things winter appropriate layer items like coats and chunky knits, add pops of contrasting color (black and emerald look super sharp), and accessorize with fur pieces. Olivia Palermo does a fabulous job of combining these things while look sharp and cool weather appropriate. I also love how Kendall Jenner contrasts a full white look with her emerald green hat.

Happy Monday!

This week is going to be a busy one with new clients and a couple of fun local events to attend. And is it just me or is September flying by? With the temperatures starting to cool down now is the perfect time to start editing your wardrobe and adding fall essentials and fun pieces.  I just got this dress and this tunic and they both are amazing!

Wardrobe Inspiration: Claire Underwood

Last night we finished up Season 2 of House of Cards and it was so good but I won't spill any details in case you're not caught up.  So let's talk about the sexy simplicity of Claire Underwood's style instead.  Her outfits are always perfectly tailored, she always looks so put together,  and I love how her style is full of confidence and sophistication. Claire typically wears a lot of neutral colors and black, tailored sheath dresses, and crisp and structured button ups with tight pencil skirts. She uses wide belts to cinch and emphasize her small waist, keeps her jewelry to a minimum, and she can always be seen with a beautiful and classic investment tote. What do you think?
