The sale started July 12th and cardholders have early access online and in stores through July 19th and from July 20th-August 5th the sale opens up to the public. A fabulous leather jacket is one of top 3 wardrobe must have items. It's a great basic or foundational piece that can be layered over almost anything in your wardrobe. I love pairing leather jackets with floral dresses...it gives a little edge and balances out a look that might otherwise be too feminine. 

Today I am rounding up some of my favorite leather jackets. The one I am wearing above is from Zara and I don't think it's available anymore but here are some of my other favorites.

What I Wore: Washingtonian Top Doc Party

Congratulations to Aneesh for being named a Top Doctor by Washingtonian magazine! This is the second year Aneesh is being recognized for his excellence as a practicing physician here in the DC area. It was a fun evening celebrating last night at City Center DC and I got to see so many of Aneesh's colleagues and friends who were also being recognized for their dedication to the well being  and health of patients. 

I decided to keep my look simple and elegant and wore a little black dress with gold pumps.  This spot sleeve mini dress by Karen Millen was the perfect dress for the occasion and the spot-mesh sleeves and v-shaped scoop in the front and back elevated this classic LBD. And best of all this dress was super comfortable to wear!
