This Week's STYLE FINDS

This week was all about giving back in style. Shopbop’s Born Free boutique served as a inspiration and highlighted the notion that purchasing a product could not only benefit the customer but also the producer or an incredible cause. Each item on this week’s StyleFinds was something that not only exuded style and elegance, but also gave money to an amazing cause.

On Monday it was all about Matterial Fix, a jewelry company that donates portions of its proceeds to different organizations that empower women and young girls. This incredible pair of Geo Drop earrings not only looks breathtaking, but it also helps fund the education of young girls in Peru.

On Tuesday I focused on the collaboartion between Victoria Beckham and Shopbop. Her design contribution to the Born Free inicitive is a stiking and slimming dress that can be worn day or night. Additionally, purchasing this piece will help fight the transmission of Aids from mother to child.

On Wednesday I focused on the same cause and displayed one of Tory Burch’s Born Free collaborations, the Reversible Canvas Tote. This bag has two exclusive prints that are interchangable for a distinct and stylish look with any ensemble.

Lastly, on Thursday it was all about the Maasai Sandal. These unique wedges give back to the women of the Maasai tribes who create these incredible shoes. They are not only a great investament for your closet but also help empower women across the world.

All of these products have amazing causes and you truly can’t go wrong by adding them to you wardrobe. They are stylish, unique and philanthropic! ---Carly

On Monday it was all about the snakeskin pump, this Kurt Geiger heel is unforgettable. The sleek cutouts and neutral tones culminate in an eye-catching pump that will complete any LBD.

On Tuesday I focused on a lightweight Helmut Lang wrap. The cut and trim detail on this top are impeccable and this is a piece you can pair with jeans, leather leggings or white pants for a year round look.

Wednesday was centered on that quintessential necklace that can be worn with a white dress or a black top and leggings. This Juliet and Company piece is a bold accessory that you can sport all year round.

Lastly, on Thursday it was all about the nude clutch. This Zac Posen style is a classic piece that is so versatile and timeless. You truly can wear it out for a night on the town or simply sport it with jeans, flats and a white oxford. Each of these pieces are great essentials for any wardrobe because they are so adaptable and unique.

This week’s STYLE FINDS were all pieces that can be found around the house or in your favorite handbag. From hand cream and primer to cookbooks and body spray, this week was all about the finishing touches to add to any look.

On Monday fragrance was the focus, this light and floral scent from Kai is the perfect way to top off your ensemble. It is a durable fragrance that will keep you smelling fresh all day long.

On Tuesday the focus was shifted to the hands. Everyone needs that go-to hand balm in his or her bag. This soothing and refreshing one from Library of Flowers is not only a gorgeous tube, but also an amazing scent. It will leave your hands nourished and smelling of honeysuckle and avocado oil, what could be better?

On Wednesday it was time to get into the kitchen with Ottolenghi’s vegetarian cookbook called Plenty. This delicious collection of recipes is the perfect way to spend a summer evening outside with friends and family. It is a classic that you will keep coming back to for more culinary inspiration.

Lastly, on Thursday it was time to take care of your hair. This Bumble and Bumble primer is crucial for anyone that blow dry’s, straightens or curls their hair. Our locks can only withstand so much and it is imperative to nourish them and keep your hair looking strong and fantastic.

This Week's STYLE FINDS

Happy Friday!

This week’s Style Finds were all based on what my favorite pieces to sport at the beach are. From the perfect shades to patterned towels, there are so many great pieces for a day in the sun.

On Monday I focused on the chicest ways to stay dry, this Nine Spaces J.Crew collaboration towel is an adorable and nautical style. The tassels add another layer of elegance and fun, it really is all in the details.

Next, on Tuesday it was all about how to cover up, this Vix Swimwear kaftan is an incredible addition to any summer wardrobe. The simple lines and synched waist combine for a flattering and colorful way to stay covered on your walk to the water.

Wednesday I shifted gears and focused on how to invigorate your sunglasses. We are creatures of habit and it is so easy to opt for the same, classic and sometimes boring shades. Try mixing things up with this violet Club Monaco style. They are a conventional shape combined with a translucent frame that will add a hint of edge to any look.

Lastly, on Thursday I finished things off by showcasing a rectangular canvas beach tote. This Ann Taylor style is very classic with clean lines and simple details. Not only will it carry all your beach must haves, but also it is a timeless piece you will be carrying year after year to the water.

Next time you are headed to the beach try to mix things up and add some more style to your relaxing vacation with these simple pieces.--Carly

This Week's STYLE FINDS

Happy Friday!

This week I decided to mix things up and focus on what some of my favorite pieces are to wear when I am lounging around or getting outside. I wanted to debunk the age old myth that comfort and style can't cohabitate. From comfy and stylish sweatpants to the perfect racerback tank top, these Style Finds are all incredible for a more relaxed day.

On Monday it was all about finding a sweatshirt that was comfortable and cozy, yet still fashionable. This dual Zipper DeLacy style is a combination of all those requirements, it is flattering, fashion forward and still relaxed.

On Tuesday the Outdoor Voices tank from J.Crew was the great Style Find. This top is so simple and sleek, it pairs perfectly with leggings for a run or with jeans and sandals. Either way it is incredibly stylish no matter what you are up to.

Wednesday was centered on shoes, these bright and bold Nike sneakers may just be the motivation we need in order to get up and get active.

Finally, on Thursday I focused on sweatpants. Many people don't perceive sweatpants as a piece that can be flattering and fashionable. However, this Sundry pair proves both of those ideas. The slim fit and cropped style keep these pants from being anything but a good idea. With all of these Style Finds you may find yourself craving a more relaxed day, but don't fret because these pieces prove that active wear and loungewear can be stylish and sleek.
